We are Diorama. A group of creative professionals based in Bratislava, Slovakia. We believe in hard work, determination and strong relationship while specializing in various forms of communication, design, and technologies. Under one roof, we bring together specialists in communication, marketing, and design. Our clients include Slovenská sporiteľňa, Generali, Radosť, CORWIN, and HB Reavis.

We are opening a mid-level position in a firm where we are eager to design a future that is brighter than the present.
We are offering our expertise to help you grow in a broad range of skills in the fields of communication, marketing, business administration, production, and project management.
The daily agenda at work involves overseeing people and projects, coordinating the team with clients, and supervising associate account managers. In our company, you will navigate and supervise the associate account managers.
As an account manager, you will help facilitate meetings and workshops with clients. You will assist in the hiring process, helping to choose the right people and evaluate the processes in our company.
Your ability to unstuck people and help them grow will be praised.
As a manager and consultant, you will play an active role throughout the entire project cycle, which includes attending meetings, conducting workshops, planning and budgeting, researching, managing design and other creative work, and finalizing and closing projects.
We are based in Bratislava, and remote work is possible. However, physical presence in the office is required during the first months on the job.
Work requires communication in Slovak and English.

Requirements

Ability to lead people, projects, and processes.
2+ years of experience in project management/account management in a design studio or advertising agency, or experience from similar fields such as event planning, video production, or printing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to listen, present, and speak clearly.
Attention to detail and ability to check texts and designs for accuracy and consistency.
Reliability, responsibility, and an adaptive mindset towards ever-changing projects and trends.
We value previous work experience with marketing platforms, email marketing platforms, CRM, and content management systems.
Niche hobbies and an interest in obscure topics are a plus.

How does your day look like?

Your day at work starts with a stand-up meeting at 9 AM, during which we review the daily agenda of copywriters and designers and evaluate if all tasks can be completed on time.

After sorting your agenda for the day, you start working on your daily tasks, which include:

Communicating with clients, actively listening with empathy to understand their needs, consulting, and managing their expectations. Informing them about project updates and coordinating with the team regarding client requests.
Use emails, phone calls, or meetings to maintain a smooth project execution.
Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders within the studio.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to keep everything on track. Coordinate with the design team to ensure they have the necessary resources and support.
Plan tasks and brief work to your colleagues.
Attend project kick-off meetings, provide input on design briefs, and ensure clear communication of all project requirements.
Communicate and coordinate with suppliers.
Prepare proposals and pitch presentations for clients.
Organize, facilitate, and actively participate in team meetings, meetings with clients, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
You'll be responsible for presenting project proposals, providing progress updates, and addressing any concerns the clients may have. Building and maintaining client relationships is a key part of your role.
Write down important things and distribute meeting minutes after meetings. It is your responsibility to prepare an agenda for the meeting, write down the minutes, and share them with stakeholders immediately after the meeting ends.
Proofread, correct, and edit materials to ensure that everything that comes from our company adheres to our standards and fulfills the arrangements with a client.
Create cost and budget estimates for projects.
Handle administrative tasks such as managing contracts, sending quotes and invoices, tracking expenses, and updating client records.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and generate new business.

How is it in Diorama?

Once a week, we have a big team review where you report the actual status of every project on your agenda.
We value our time spent at work, and therefore we track every second to ensure that it is spent efficiently on assigned tasks and projects. This helps us evaluate projects after delivery.
Critical thinking, understanding the context, and setting boundaries are also important parts of your daily routine. Our minds can be trained this way, and such skills can be achieved, so do not worry if this part of our process doesn't come naturally to you.
If it's every other Tuesday, we have lunch together as a team, offsite or in the office. (Peter occasionally cooks.)
We hold 1-on-1 meetings from time to time to discuss your progress, provide feedback, and set goals for your development. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas, ask questions, and receive guidance on how to improve your work.
Stay updated on design trends, industry news, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients. Attend workshops, webinars, or training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.
