What makes Pucung unique among Slovak festivals is its emphasis on the direct relationship between culture, politics, and entertainment. And this fusion has been working well for more than 7 years. This is also thanks to the program structure, where the local scene is hardly a support act here. The headliners are chosen based on their understanding of and relationship with the local context.

The enthusiasm and verve with which it has become an established platform for voicing current political and social issues are too addictive, and we are happy to contribute to the whole by taking care of its identity for the second year in a row. One of the aims this time was to add a touch of emotion to the impersonal depictions of the cleaning process. The sheer light shining through the bubbles brings a little hope to a somewhat claustrophobic political situation.
